Learn about Thurber's 1843 Patent Printer designed to assist those who were blind or experienced limited vision or dexterity. The only known full-size model of Charles Thurber's unique device--in the collection of Worcester Historical Museum--will be the focus of this discussion of assistive technology then and now. This program is presented in partnership with the Worcester Commission on Disability and will be ASL interpreted.
